Clean up Treasure Island with us.

Join us for an After-the-Fourth beach cleanup sponsored by Treasure Island Adopt-A-Beach and Keep Pinellas Beautiful. As a volunteer you get to help get the beaches back to pristine — and the folks at Misting Monsoon will dive the waters to clear what sinks below it.

It’s sea-turtle nesting season on the Gulf. Every piece we carry off keeps the shoreline clear and dark for the hatchlings heading to the water.

How the day ran

Three steps.

01

Crews worked the sand

Volunteers walked the Gulf Front stretch at first light, bagging cans, plastic, and firework debris before the heat set in.

02

Divers worked below it

Misting Monsoon took the underwater half — the debris that had already gone under and never makes it into a shoreline trash bag.
